Pumpkin Patch
Audrey went on her first field trip Wednesday October 21st. It was so bitter sweet. I went on the field trip with her and all of us "Moms" had to drive behind the school buses. As I waited and watched for the kiddos to get on the school bus I was filled with excitement. Audrey was so nervous about riding on the bus. She said, "Mom, I am kind of nervous because I have never ridden on a bus before and I do not know what it will be like." I couldn't wait to talk with her when we got to the pumpkin patch so she could tell me what she thought about the bus ride! Then I noticed the classes started to get onto the bus. You can see in one of the pictures below Audrey is sitting above the the word school, you can see her bow...HA!!! (A good reason you need a beautiful big bow!!)I waved to her and she gave me a little wave and then I saw her looking around. I think now is when the Lord spoke to me, she is not in your hands but mine. As the buses drove away my heart was so heavy. I prayed for safe travel for the buses and parents and of course a song come on that made me cry, "You will be safe in my arms" was just part of the verse but spoke so much to me. Christ has her in his hands and I have to trust him with her all the time. Seeing her in that school bus driving right bye me waving her little hand bye just made that so vivid in my heart I had tears! Just had to share a little bit of what the Lord taught me yet again through my beautiful 6 year old! OH and yes, she did enjoy the bus ride!!!

Scott had a soccer tournament in Tulsa this weekend so we were able to visit Papaw and Mimi in Sapulpa. We made a trip to the pumpkin patch and the girls picked out their own pumpkin! Mimi gave Sarah a bottle while Audrey and her cousin picked out their pumpkins and I took some pictures. The weather was beautiful and we had so much fun. We went back to the house to carve the pumpkins and take some pictures of Sarah Allain in the pumpkin! Audrey and Kaylee put on a music show for us while we cooked hot dogs and s'mores for lunch.
