This Thanksgiving Scott, the girls and I picked up my Aunt in Dallas and drove out to Tucson, AZ!! Yes, that was a 21 hour drive total and yes it was VERY LONG but the girls did great and we made it there and back safely, thank you for the many prayers! We had a great time visiting with My mom and Ellis and his daughter Kendra and my brother and his wife Cori. They live so far away and we relly do not get to visit all that much. We also had a great time visiting with Auntie Donna on the...LONG drive out. We are so Thankful for her, it definatly helped with 3 adults in the car!
Things in Arizona were quiet eventful! We had to laugh to say the least! From making 4-5 trips to the grocery store in 2 days, a fire in the oven, a big turkey mix up and deflating dinner rolls plus a lack of caffine in some people you can imagine the faces on afew of us! The Lord works in mysterous ways!! They gave this Thanksgiving the title National Lampoons Thanksgiving, I just kept calling us the Grisswalds...HA!
It was also my Mom's birthday on Saturday so we were able to wish her a happy birthdya before we left on Friday!
Happy Thanksgiving!

After getting off the plane you were able to see the different surroundings of the desert! You fed the quail with Uncle George, walked around Me maw and
Grandpa's backyard with Daddy. Uncle George
was able to tell us about all the different types of cactus.
